Everybody and his uncle é uma expressão que significa muita gente. Exemplos:
“Sorry I’m late, everybody and his uncle decided to call me today.” (Desculpe o atraso, todo mundo resolveu me ligar hoje.)
“What’s going on? Why everybody and his uncle are gathered in front of the office?“ (O que está acontecendo? Porque todo mundo está reunido em frente ao escritório?)
