Screw up significa cometer um erro. Screwup é o problema causado pelo erro de alguém. Exemplos:
“I screw up, but don’t worry I’ll fix it.” (Eu errei, mas não se preocupe que eu vou consertar.)
“The screwup in the financial department damaged the whole business.“ (O problema causado pelo erro do departamento financeiro arruinou o negócio inteiro.)
