Spot on significa precisamente, algo como “acertar na mosca”. Mas também pode significar perfeito. Exemplos:
“The weather prediction was spot on today.” (A previsão do tempo acertou na mosca hoje.)
“The pasta from that new restaurant was spot on.“ (A massa daquele novo restaurante estava perfeita.)
