Cheat on significa trair, enganar. Exemplos:

“She broke up the engagement because she saw him cheating on her.” (Ela terminou o noivado porque viu ele traindo ela.)

“I didn’t loose any weight this week because I cheated on my diet.” (Eu não perdi peso essa semana porque quebrei a dieta.)
