Float around

Float around é um phrasal verb que significa ‘por aí’, relacionado a algo que você sabe que está perto, mas não consegue saber exatamente onde está. Exemplos:

“There should be some pens floating around somewhere.” (Deve haver algumas canetas em algum lugar por aí.)

“There is a rumor floating around saying that the two of you are dating.” (Existe um boato por aí que vocês dois estão namorando.)
