Teetering on the brinké um idiom que significa estar próximo de uma situação perigosa ou ruim. Exemplos:
“Mary is teetering on the brink of losing her job. She should stop being late.” (Mary está próxima de perder o emprego. Ela deveria parar de chegar atrasada.)
“Peter is teetering on the brink of getting arrested. He should not behave like that in court.” (Peter está próximo de ser preso. Ele não deveria se comportar daquele jeito no tribunal.)
