Howling windé um idiom que significa ventos uivantes ou ventos muitos fortes. Exemplos:
“We looke through the window and we saw the howling wind. We knew then that the storm was close.” (Olhamos pela janela e vimos ventos muito fortes. Sabíamos então que a tempestade estava próxima.)
“I don’t like when there is a howling wind. It makes me feel like bad things will happen.” (Eu não gosto quando há um vento uivante. Isso me faz sentir que coisas ruins vão acontecer.)
